Miku is a silent and reserved girl who has a pessimistic way of thinking and low confidence, even to the point of belittling herself.[11] Fuutarou Uesugi notes that she doesn't have faith in herself.[12] In contrary to her reserved self, she can talk in a straightforward manner and doesn't hesitate to confront others.[13]

Miku is an emotionless looking girl with medium-length brownish-red hair that has strands of hair hanging over the right side of her face (ranging from light pink to antique pink shade in Volume 1, and pearl pink to beige brown shade in Volume 4 [6][7]). Her notable accessory is a set of wireless headphones that have a triangle-shaped logo on the ear cups (Audio-Technica) [8]. Like her sisters, she has dark blue eyes, an average height, a well-endowed figure and large breasts.

His personality is opposite to Nino's, making the two of them often get into small fights. Their dispute culminated when Nino again refused to study together with Fūtarō and his sisters. Miku asked her to stop acting like that, but Nino tore up the test paper Fūtarō had prepared. Before Miku could do anything, Itsuki slapped Nino and begged him to apologize to Fūtarō. This incident made Nino run away from their apartment. The next day, Miku and Fūtarō find Nino temporarily staying at the hotel. Although he initially refused their presence, Fūtarō's constant efforts to have a good talk with Nino were fruitful. After a number of incidents, Miku visits Nino at her new hotel, and after talking about the latest incident, Miku is able to advise Nino to become a better person.

Miku, most likely, has the lowest physical capabilities among her sisters and she is bad at cooking.[26][27] It is implied that she has a lack of romantic knowledge, due to the fact that she's less capable to comprehend the reasoning behind human relationships.[28]

Miku has weak physical abilities (possibly the weakest among triplets) and is poor at cooking. He is also less able to discover the reasons behind human relationships, indicating a lack of experience with love. Miku is also less sociable than her other sisters, although she still has some friends. Yotsuba states that Miku is the smartest of the five twins, especially in Social Sciences. Thanks to her passion, Miku is also a smart one in Japanese history. Another ability is to be able to imitate the appearance and personality of her sisters without being recognized by others.

In the Japanese version, Miku's voice is filled by Miku Itō. [2] After reading the manga, Itō said that she wanted to play Miku, the reason being that they both have the same name. He also finds Miku very attractive because he rarely shows expressions. [3] However, Itō stated that Miku actually had more emotions than her sisters, and that she would "go to great lengths" to bring out that aspect when filling her voice. [4] In the English dubbed version, Felecia Angelle voices her voice. [5]

Despite her slightly negative outlook on life, such as when she asks Fuutarou to give up on her[18], she is the first sister to abide by the Gotoubun Principle. Miku always reminds herself to follow this principle, going as far as compromising her own interest to make sure everyone is treated equally.[19]

Miku Nakano (中なか野の 三み玖く, Nakano Miku?) is the third sister of the Nakano Quintuplets, and one of the main characters of the 5-toubun no Hanayome series. She has a timid personality.

Miku has an interest in Japanese history as well as figures from the Sengoku period and is deeply influenced by their philosophy of life. However, she hid this fact from her sisters. Although Miku has a bit of a negative outlook on life — such as when she asked Fūtarō to surrender to her, she was the first of her sisters to uphold the Quintessential Principles of Fifths taught by her mother. Miku always tries to continue to follow this principle, even willing to sacrifice her personal interests to ensure that all her sisters are treated equally and equally.

After learning that Fūtarō is stepping down as their tutor, Miku and her sisters visit the restaurant where Fūtarō works on Christmas Eve to ask him to return as their tutor. Although Fūtarō refuses to return to being their tutor because of his previous failures, Miku reminds him not to give up.

It is shown that she has an obsession with generals from the Sengoku Period.[14] She is greatly influenced by their philosophies, to the point of affecting her real-life behavior.[15] She hides this fact from her everyone and is embarrassed when Fuutarou found out.[16] When Fuutarou challenged her to a duel of historical knowledge, she donned a set of armour similar to Takeda Shingen's.[17]

Miku initially turned down Fūtarō as a tutor, because she wished the other person a better job. After Fūtarō learned that Miku was fond of the characters of the Sengoku era, Fūtarō appreciated this hobby and made Miku begin to accept it, although he later rejected it again due to Fūtarō's lack of knowledge of the Sengoku era. Upon this refusal, Fūtarō studied hard to deepen his knowledge of the history of the era and then succeeded in getting Miku to accept it. Fūtarō's tenacity also inspires and motivates Miku to begin studying, making him the first of the triplets to accept Fūtarō as their tutor. Over time, she began to harbor strong feelings for Fūtarō for spending time together. Miku would even get jealous when other girls took notice of Fūtarō, including his sisters. According to her, she liked Fūtarō because of the "warmth" it radiated. Miku wanted Fūtarō all to herself, but she also wanted the six of them to stay together.
